The lights go down and everyone starts to corner Cody and he goes to the floor. Bryan goes after Cara. McIntyre is eliminated by Jackson. El Segundo Cara comes in and pull the original out and Bryan throws Number Two to the floor. Morrison tries to eliminate Sheamus while Sin Cara gives Sin Cara a rana. Ted rolls Cody into the ring and Gabriel, Bryan, and Ted kick Cody. Sheamus sends Ted into the turnbuckles. Bryan with a kick to Jackson. Riley tries to eliminate Gabriel but Gabriel skins the cat. They fight to the apron and Sheamus with a Brogue kick to Riley to eliminate him and Sheamus punches Gabriel to the floor to eliminate him.

Jackson eliminates Bryan and Morrison in the corner. Jackson and Sheamus exchange punches while Cody and Ted fight in the corner. Sheamus with forearms to Jackson followed by knees to the head. Ted tries for Dream Street on Sheamus but Sheamus backs him into the corner. Cody eliminates Ted and then he hits Beautiful Disaster to Sheamus. Jackson sends Cody to the apron and he holds on and Jackson goes over the top rope to the floor.

We are down to Cody and Sheamus and Sheamus with a double sledge followed by a power slam. Sheamus sets for the Celtic Cross but Cody gets out of the hold and Christian distracts Sheamus and Sheamus knocks Cody down. Sheamus sets for the Brogue kick and Sheamus misses. Cody pushes Sheamus over but he lands on the apron. Cody tries to use the mask but Sheamus blocks it. Christian distracts Sheamus and Cody hits Sheamus with the mask and knocks Sheamus to the floor.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

9/24 /11 – El Paso, Texas

Jack Swagger beat Alex Riley via submission. Vickie introduced Swagger as her new client. She was on the show quite a bit. Swagger won with the anklelock

Alex is the first to come out, he comes out to a loud pop from the crowd. Next out is Primo with decent heat from the crowd. They circle each other and lock up. Alex gets Primo into a standing side headlock. Primo pushes Alex towards the ropes and gets out of it, Alex delivers a shoulder block to Primo and falls to the mat. Primo complains to the ref about what Alex did and stays against the ropes for a few seconds getting his composure while Alex paces waiting for him. They circle each other one more time, Primo puts his hand up for Alex to take it, instead he kicks him and starts beating him. Alex goes over to the corner of the ring trying to get away, Primo goes over to him and continues the stomping to his chest. The ref pulls Primo back. Primo whips Alex into the the ropes, Alex goes for a clothesline but Primo ducks, he goes for another, but ducks again. Alex takes down Primo and starts to repeatedly punch his head. Alex picks Primo up and rams his head into the turnbuckle.

Alex whips Primo into the ropes again, Alex runs into him and Primo drop toe holds Alexs face into the ropes. Primo runs and slides down Alex’s back and acts all cocky with himself after doing so. Alex is in the ring hurt and Primo is still outside acting cocky, he gets in the ring, Primo drops his knee to Alex and goes over to the ropes to get away.

Primo goes after him and digs his knee into him while Alex hangs over the ropes. the ref tells Primo to come off the ropes. Primo strikes Alexs chest with a hard kick. Primo takes him away from the ropes and proceeds to do a knee breaking on Alex. Alex struggles free. They begin trading blows back and forth. Alex with an STO on Primo. Primo tries to clotheline Alex, but Alex clothelines Primo first, and then another clothesline, Primo goes for a clothesline, but Alex counters with a spinebuster. Alex delivers a corkscrew suplex to Primo. Alex goes for the cover and Primo kicks out, Alex is in shock. Prmo with a leg sweep and then a leg drop on Alex.

He goes for the cover but Alex kicks out at 2. Primo starts to punh him again while he’s on the floor. The ref pulls him off him after 3. Primo stalks Alex, waits for him to get up, goes for a backstabber, Alex holds on to the ropes so Primo misses and falls to the mat. Alex picks him up, delivers the TKO, but the announcers call it the “A-Bomb from A-Ry”, Alex pins Primo, 1,2,3 the ref raises his hand and he gets up on the turnbuckle and points to the crowd.

Winner: Alex Riley

9/23/11 – Albuquerque, New Mexico

Alex Riley beat Jack Swagger. A-Ry got a huge pop to open the show. Lots of kids in attendance and they were pretty into him. Good back-and-forth action to start the match. Swagger did the typical roll-outs to extend the match for the show. Riley countered out of an anklelock mid-way through the match, and hit his finisher toward the end for the win. About eight minutes of decent action. I did notice that Swagger was blown up almost the entire match.

WWE Raw came through Cleveland last night, and Alex Riley stopped in the 92.3 studios with Kiley and Booms this morning to talk a little professional wrestling and football.
