Riley’s new music plays and he comes out in a suit, sans tie and collar all askew. Riley is smiling, almost giddy. Cole says never in the WWE was there an act of such treachery, such backstabbing! Riley, how could you. Miz was like a father to Riley. Miz protected Riley. Nurtured Riley, helped him grow and took him under his wing, then let him fly. How did Riley repay him? By unmercifully attacking his mentor. Doesn’t Riley know there’s impressionable young women watching all over the world. How does Riley think they were emotionally effected by what Riley did? How was Miz emotionally effected. Cole can tell Riley as Miz is a friend of Cole’s. Miz was hurt by this. Miz was emotionally scarred. Cole doesn’t know if Riley realizes this, but Miz thought of Riley like a brother, a confidant. Riley was Miz’s go to guy, his right hand man. Cole has one question for Riley. How can Riley justify his actions of last week.
Riley says he’s never felt better in his life. Cole says if he was Riley he’s get on his knees and beg Miz for forgiveness. Riley has no idea what Miz is capable of. No idea the type of pain, humiliation, punishment, Riley has no idea!
Riley tells Cole to shut up! Cole has a big mouth, just like Miz. He’s arrogant like Miz. Starting to get a little annoying, just like Miz. Cole says he’s none of those things, neither is Miz! But Riley is – Cole can’t find the words. Finally Cole calls Riley a bastard!
Cole tries to flee, but Riley catches him by the back of his collar, then pushes Cole down. Riley goes off about carrying Miz’s bags, on and on. He pulls Cole up, but then turns into a tackle from Miz. Miz kicks Riley in the head, then screeches at Riley that he made Riley. Miz removes his suit jacket to show a bright pink shirt that looks great on him! Miz reaches for Riley again, but is tackled to the mat. Miz flees, but Riley tackles Miz from behind on the ramp, takes him down. Riley bounces Miz off every barrier, then into the timekeeper’s booth. Riley flies over the barrier, tackling Miz. Riley slides Miz across the announce table, then Miz flees through the stands. Riley back into the ring, seething in Miz’s direction as Cole rants. King tells Cole to shut up. Miz got his and if Cole doesn’t shut up, then he’ll get his. Again!

WWE Champion John Cena def. Miz & R-Truth when Cena pinned R-Truth. Most of the match was Miz & Truth double teaming Cena. Miz was attacked by Alex Riley and they fought to the back, which set up the finish.

Miz entered first, with some fans actually cheering him. He cut a promo about how he got robbed at Over the Limit, and talked about how he fired Alex Riley on Raw last week, and that we’d never see Riley on Raw again. Big heat on Miz during his promo, especially when he drew out delivering his catchphrase.
Miz and Truth both hit their finishers during the match, but each time one went for a pinfall, the other broke it up. At about the 12-minute mark, Cena went into his Super-Cena comeback routine, knocking out both Miz and Truth, and hit the Five-Knuckle Shuffle on both. He was unable to score the pinfall though. Shortly after that, R-Truth went for a pinfall on Cena, but Miz hit him with a chair, knocking him out of the ring. At this point, Alex Riley came sprinting in from the back (big pop for Riley after essentially turning face on Raw last week) and attacked Miz. The two of them quickly brawled up the aisle and into the back. Cena was then able to hit the Attitude Adjustment on R-Truth, scoring the pinfall to send the crowd home happy.

Miz comes out to the ring, suit unbuttoned, A-Ri in tow. King is goading Cole about Miz’s loss. King says that match was a masterpiece last night. “You quit!” chants greet Miz. Miz says there’s only one reason he didn’t win the WWE Championship last night. That reason is A-Ri. This has been habitual. At Extreme Rules A-Ri forgot who he worked for. The rematch and Miz won it back, then A-Ri happened. Video of A-Ri exposing Miz’s cheating. Last night at OTL their plan worked to perfection until A-Ri screwed it up again. A-Ri was thrown through announce. Miz appeals to the RAW GM for another chance. A one on one Title Match against Cena with A-Ri banned from ringside. Miz will wait for his reply. Nothing! Cena wasn’t in a handicap match night, Miz was. The RAW GM needs to email and make this match official. Nothing. Everyone knows Miz should be Champ right now. He won’t leave this ring until the GM makes the match!
Ding-Ding! Josh over and says the GM says – Miz, I heard your request for another Championship match is denied. You lost last night and you’re done with Cena.
Miz isn’t impressed and turns to A-Ri. Miz says it’s all A-Ri’s fault. If not for A-Ri he’d be Champion right now. Miz calls A-Ri a useless waste of space. A-Ri says he wasn’t the one who said ‘I quit!’ “You quit” chants. Miz is pissed and slaps A-Ri. Miz gave A-Ri a personal service contract. Without Miz A-Ri wouldn’t be in the WWE. A-Ri rode his coattail to the main event at WM. A-Ri’s been disappointment after disappointment. Miz is done with A-Ri and fired! A-Ri starts bowing up at Miz. Miz hits A-Ri across the face but A-Ri comes back to beat the hell out of Miz, ripping his suit and shirt off Miz. Miz sent flying the length of announce, then to the floor. A-Ri grabs Miz up and slams him on announce, then back into the ring. “Riley!” chants. A-Ri yells that he did everything for Miz. A-Ri slams Miz to the mat, then looks down on Miz. A big boot to Miz’s head before A-Ri leaves the ring to Miz with a huge welt under his arm.

Miz is standing backstage with Todd Grisham. Miz says the way he’ll get Cena to quit tonight is something everyone has overlooked, just like everyone has overlooked the fact that Cena has never faced the Miz in an I Quit match before. He says the people that don’t think Miz can win tonight are the people who thought he’d be fired three days after coming to the WWE, who thought he’d be the first unsuccessful MitB challenger, and who thought he’d never be WWE Champion, but he’s proved them all wrong, and he knows exactly what it takes to win. And by the end of the night, Cena will say I Quit, and Miz will say he’s the Miz and- Riley interrupts, saying I’m the new WWE Champion.
“I Quit” Match for the WWE Championship
We get a recap of the events of the last month, since Extreme Rules, when Cena regained the WWE Championship for the first time in ten months, that have led to this match.
Justin Roberts gives us a quick run down of the rules, which basically state you can do anything you have to, to make your opponent say ‘I Quit’. The Miz’s music hits, and the challenger is the first man to make his way out to the ring, and of course he’s got Alex Riley in tow, carrying his briefcase. Cena is the next man out to the ring, and he gets a mixed reaction, but it’s safe to say that most of the voices in the crowd are for Cena, at least at this moment in the night. We get formal ring introductions for both men, and we’re ready for tonight’s main event.
The bell rings, and Miz asks for the referee’s mic. Miz says out of all the matches Cena could have chosen, he chose an I Quit match. Miz says there are no rules, and that means Miz could hit him with a chair, throw him off the stage, or batter him with the steps, but that means Riley can do it too, so Miz is going to give Cena a freebie, and give him an opportunity to quit right now. Cena says ‘hell no’. Miz goes for the clothesline but Cena ducks it and gives both men a series of clotheslines before he backdrops Riley and hits a facebuster on Miz. Cena hits a gut wrench suplex on Miz and goes for the STF, but Riley breaks it up and begins laying into Cena with right hands.
Riley hits a big suplex on Cena before going back over to the Miz to regroup. Cena is able to back drop Riley to the outside, and he comes up with a couple of big shoulderblocks to Miz before hitting a big belly to back suplex. Cena goes for, and hits the five knuckle shuffle, but when he goes for the AA, Miz fights out and hits a quick combination neckbreaker. Miz goes for the SCF, but Cena fights out and hits the AA. When Cena gets up to his feet, he’s blasted by Alex Riley and the briefcase. Riley uses the briefcase to repeatedly slam down into Cena.

Here is a video from one of YouTubes most popular and subscribed WWE review channels, the OFF THE ROPES SHOW.
It is a parody of Saturday Night Live’s popular “Bill Swerski’s Superfans” skit that is both humorous and true. If the humor is not for you, be sure to check out their RAW reviews as they have always been quick to praise our Varsity Villain since his early days!
Alex Riley has been a hot topic on radio shows, YouTube reviews and various fan media for his incredible work on the microphone the past few weeks. His TV time has been increasing lately and it’s likely that Alex will be featured heavily in tonight’s Over The Limit main event when John Cena defends his title against The Miz in an I QUIT match. Be sure to check back later here at Alex-Riley.com for results!

After John Cena’s celebration and Raw going off the air, The Miz and Alex Riley came back to the ring. Miz asked, “Why wait?” He said he wanted to have the match with Cena tonight.
John Cena defeated The Miz (w/Alex Riley) to retain the WWE Championship. Cena won in a few minutes. Nothing special.

Cena’s music and he comes out. To the camera on stage he says, “Welcome to the Alamo!” Down to the ring, strap in hand. Before Cena can speak someone on the stage clears his throat. It’s A-Ri who tells Cena to save it, we’ve all heard it. Hustle, loyalty and respect. I never quit and will retain next Sunday. Why doesn’t Cena look at this? A video of Miz at his most evil, taking out Cena so many times before.
Cena doesn’t look happy. A-Ri then announces the most ‘must see Champion in WWE history’ the Miz. Miz out in a charcoal gray suit with black shirt and tie. In the ring A-Ri tells Miz the fans love him. On mic he says we’ve underestimated Miz. From Tough Enough to WMXXVII. We didn’t think he had what it took, but he did. They also thought the Spurs would make it out of the first round. Big heat for A-Ri as he continues to make choking noises. A-Ri says this Sunday at OTL in an I Quit Match – “You suck!” chants. Miz will prove us all wrong once again because the Miz will never mutter the words ‘I quit!’
Cena tells A-Ri that he’s as stupid as he is useless. If we’re talking about things Miz won’t say, how about ‘I won’t pass on tickets to the JoBros.’ ‘I don’t think I want to play with My Little Pony anymore.’ ‘I’m the Miz and I have testicles.’ That’s a shame because he’ll need a set for an I Quit Match. Miz has gone from laughing stock to WWE Champion, but there’s a reason Cena picked this match. “Cena!” chants. The reason he chose that match, after he looks past the fancy suits and bravado, Cena can look into A-Ri’s mentor’s eyes and see fear. Same fear Cena sees right now. He’s been in these matches and have gone the distance. Will he get hurt, or quit before he gets hurt. He’s scared because he won’t be saying I’m the Miz and I’m awesome, he’ll be saying I’m the Miz and I quit!’
Ding-Ding! Cole on his ipad! And I quote, “Miz, since I allowed John Cena to make the stipulation for OTL. As long as you and Riley are not involved, it’s only fair you name the match and opponent here, tonight.” Miz, all smiles, takes the mic from A-Ri. He says he doesn’t know who Cena’s opponent will be yet. He doesn’t know the stipulation yet. But one thing’s for sure, it’s going to be awesome! A-Ri and Miz leave the ring and Cena staring after them. Miz and A-Ri back up the ramp taunting Cena.

The show opened with Dusty Rhodes coming to the ring and announcing a Battle Royal.
(1) Ezekiel Jackson won a battle royal. Also in the match: Mark Henry, Mason Ryan, Alex Riley, Yoshi Tatsu, Daniel Bryan, Tyson Kidd, Trent Barreta, Corre’s Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel, and Ted DiBiase. Bryan was out early. Mark Henry with the heat – got piled up on and dumped. Jackson, both members of Corre, and Mason Ryan were the Final Four. Out went Corre scrubs, then Zeke Jackson tossed Ryan out for the win. The crowd was pleased. Henry got the biggest heat from the homestate crowd.

Miz’s music hits and he’s out to the ring in his new Awesome shirt and trunks, A-Ri wearing the same. Teddy might have let things like this fly, but not on RAW. This is still Miz’s show! The WWE Championship is his Title. If it wasn’t for the staggering incompetence of his assistant last week, he’s be standing here Champion.
Alberto tells Miz he had his chance and couldn’t get the job done. Now he goes to the end of the line. Miz says he did get the job done, pinned Cena and was announced the WWE Champion. Then the prejudice ref changed the decision. Miz didn’t know what A-Ri was going to do. Instinctively Miz used the strap before Cena could use it on him. Miz wants a legitimate rematch with Cena. Rey and Alberto can fight in a Taco Bell parking lot for all Miz cares. The only person who should be facing Cena for the Title is Miz!
R-Truth’s voice and he comes out to the stage, then to the ring. No music, no pyro on his way out. R-Truth says they all cain’t get along. Since they’re all spilling hate, let him spill some of his own. Know what he hates? Hospital food. It’s dry as a desert, smells bad and tastes bad. You never get it when you really want it. You know who’s eating hospital food right now? JoMo. That’s because last week R-Truth did this to him. Video of R-Truth’s attack on JoMo on RAW last week. R-Truth says he put a beating on JoMo so bad he has to have surgery. If they don’t believe him, go to WWE.com. R-Truth wants to shoot out to JoMo. PS, hospital food gives you constipation. Know what else is true? He doesn’t have any trouble making sure the rest of them are hooked up to the same IV. Can use the same bed pan too. Doesn’t matter if you’re a pretty boy from LA – looking at Miz. Doesn’t matter if you’re some Super hero wannabe from San Diego – Rey – then called him bottle nose (no clue what that means). And it doesn’t matter if you’re some pompous Mexican fence jumper, liver lips! This stops Alberto’s laughter. R-Truth says when an angry black man is talking, you’d better shut it up. He’s not waiting in line like the past ten years. He sees and opportunity, he’ll take it. Kick his dog, then he’ll kick your cat! Who’s going to face that lily white John Cena? R-Truth! And that’s the truth!
