THE MIZ W/ ALEX RILEY VS. DANIEL BRYAN

Miz and A-Ri to the ring as Cole crows about the best day of his career will be this Sunday when he gets to announce King losing to the Miz. King should be at announce calling the action, not in the ring. A-Ri over to announce and verbally attacks Josh. Cole gets in on verbally abusing Josh. Says Josh should treat his mentor, Cole, better than that. Josh says Cole shoulder treat King, a HOF’er, better than that! Bryan out to the ring through all this.

Miz rushes Bryan and they lock up. Side headlock to Bryan. Miz runs the ropes and shoulder blocks Bryan to the mat. They lock up and push around the ring until Bryan sends Miz flying. Arm drag to Miz. Miz runs the ropes and into two drop kicks. Miz telegraphs and is kicked for it. Bryan then runs into a big boot and hits the mat. Kicks, then an elbow to Bryan’s chest.

Miz locks in a modified cobra clutch. Bryan up and elbows out. Miz and Bryan screw up quite a bit, then Bryan locks on a hold, but Miz grabs the ropes to free himself. Blows to Miz until Bryan runs into a back elbow for two. Chinlock on Bryan on the mat. Bryan up and elbows out. Blows to Miz, then back to Bryan and more on Miz. Bryan into a corner, runs up, flips over Miz. Bryan ducks Miz and hits his own clothesline. Miz into a corner and then a drop kick to Miz in that corner for two. Miz begs, but then on Bryan with blows. Bryan elevates Miz over the top and out.

Bryan rushes Miz who moves out of the way. So Bryan to the apron and flies onto Miz, knee to Miz’s jaw and Miz into the barrier. Back in the ring Bryan hits a beautiful missile dropkick on Miz for two. Bryan locks on his la belle lock, but Miz to the ropes. Knee to Bryan’s head through the ropes. Miz then hit’s a neck breaker onto the apron through the ropes. Bryan then flops to the floor.

Bryan up top, Miz climbs. Bryan hits a sunset flip from up top for two, then both are down. Bryan kicks at Miz’s chest over and over and over, but then somehow ends up in a school boy by Miz for two. Small package from Miz for two. Miz for a neck breaker but Bryan reverses into a suplex! A huge kick to Miz’s chest for two. A-Ri thought it was over there. Bryan again goes for his submission, but can’t. Bryan with an elbow to Miz’s face. Bryan ends up on Miz’s shoulders and Miz drops him face first to the mat. SCF and Miz gets the three.

WINNER: Miz

Cole and A-Ri on their feet for their golden boy who can’t do wrong. Cole laughingly rips on Bryan and King through the video replay of the match. Miz gets a mic and asks if they all saw what he did to the US Champion Daniel Bryan. They all saw, but there’s one who didn’t see, Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. Kings not there because his mother passed away. Therefore he’d like to take this moment to offer his sincere condolences. However, he hopes Jerry doesn’t use this as an excuse as to why he loses at the Elimination Chamber PPV. The only thing he wants King to hear is that Miz will still be WWE Champion. Because he’s the Miz, and he’s – awesome! A-Ri into the ring to raise Miz’s arm high.

Miz asks if King wants to know why Miz was rooting for him? King say that he doesn’t wrestle that much anymore and Miz think he can easily win over King. Miz disagrees. They’re all easy wins! He could beat anyone in that match. That’s why he’s the Champion and they’re not. He thinks he and King are mirror images. When King was young he had one of the biggest mouths in the industry. He could incite riots. Whether it was Kaufman on Letterman, or insulting Bret’s Mother. He was a lightening rod. People would stop and listen. Miz says he’s never admitted this, but he’s patterned his career after King’s. He’s a modern day Jerry Lawler. People are listening to him, he’s on talk shows, he’s the WWE Champion. Something King’s never been and never will be.

King says he’d hate to look in a mirror and see a haircut like that! King says he has had a big mouth his entire career. The difference between them is that he back it up. Miz thinks he’s a modern day Lawler? The difference is King didn’t pattern after anyone, he’s an original.

Miz says King’s right, an original cheap shot artist. That another reason Miz likes him. Miz shows video of King punching Ted in the face last week. “Jerry!” chants fill the arena. Miz says that’s almost a sucker punch. King says he thinks Miz is a sucker. King gives a cheap pop. He thinks they all think Miz sucks too. Much heat for Miz. King says Miz is right, not everything that comes out of Miz’s mouth is poop, manure, compost or whatever Miz wants to call it. King’s never been the WWE Champion, nor has he competed at WM. Miz and no one else knows what it would mean to King to be Champion and compete at WM. It’s been a lifelong dream and he’s been in the industry for 40 years. So he’s going to be Champion. After he wins at Elimination Chamber, know what he’s going to say? ‘I’m going to WM!’

Miz says he’s wrong. The only thing the world’s going to hear is ‘I’m the Miz and I’m -’ King yells, awful and starts the chant. Miz dives at King who ducks. King takes Miz down. A-Ri in and King sends him out flying. Miz up, but King takes him down again, hard. Ted rushes the ring, blindsides King and attacks. Cole is rooting them on the whole way. Bryan runs to the ring and cleans house as Cole screams. Ding-Ding! And I quote, “King, King and Bryan versus Miz and DiBiase, NOW!”

JERRY “THE KING” AND DANIEL BRYAN VS. TED DIBIASE & THE MIZ W/ A-RI

Cole, back to his seat is happy, King and Bryan will get what they deserve. A-Ri joins Cole on announce. A-Ri says King got lucky. Ted punches on Bryan. Ted runs the ropes and into a knee to the gut. Kicks to Ted’s back as A-Ri calls him Bryan Danielson, Cole covers. More kicks to Ted’s back. Bryan covers for two. Ted is whipped, then a drop kick to his chest. Bryan covers for two. King tags in. They hit double back elbows, then King drops a punch.

Miz tags into a hip toss, then a couple slams. Miz begs his way back, but then pulls the rope low to send King out. Ted kicks on King outside the ring. Cole screeches on about what King deserves.

Maryse is ringside putting on lipgloss. King tags out. Bryan runs up a corner, flips over Miz, then nails Miz with a clothesline. Bryan whipped. Miz tags in, but Bryan moves and Miz eats the corner. Bryan climbs, but Ted trips behind the ref’s back. Miz stomps at Bryan. Heat for Miz and then he hits his running clothesline to Bryan in a corner. Miz covers for two. Cole is having a love-fest with Cole. Ted tags in and kicks Bryan’s ribs while Miz holds him. Ted hit’s a drop kick to the back of Bryan’s head as Cole continues to rant about King.

Miz tags in and attacks by as Ted holds him. Miz runs the ropes, right into a drop kick from Bryan. King tags in, as does Ted. King on Ted with punches. Back body drop to Ted. King hits his famous DDT, but Miz breaks the count, then yells into King’s face. They set King up for a double team, but King kicks Miz who turns into a flying Bryan. Ted on King in a corner with blows. Miz rolls out and Bryan with a suicide dive through the ropes. King is whipped but King moves and Ted hit’s the post. King up top, strap down and he drops a punch for three as Cole totally tweaks.

WINNERS: King & Bryan

Cole continues to rant, A-Ri plays yes man. Bryan and King celebrate as Miz glares into the ring from his spot on the floor, back to the barrier.

Thanks to Kim of Ted-Dibiasejr.com we have some awesome shots of Alex from last night’s Supershow in Philadelphia! Alex was in a 15 man Over the Top Rope Battle Royal. The winner got a shot at the IC title. Unfortunately Alex didn’t win, but later on that night The Miz (with Alex Riley) defeated Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship.

Miz and A-Ri out in very nice suits. Miz says before Alberto makes his decision, he wants to congratulate him, it’s impressive. Not as impressive as winning MITB, cashing it in, beating Orton, beating Orton again to retain the WWE Championship. Alberto nods. Miz says he hopes Alberto chooses to face him at WM. Miz will still be the WWE Champion when WM comes around. He can’t say the same about Edge. He’ll lose at the Elimination Chamber. He wants to tell Alberto something. Last night Edge was celebrating. He said he’s going to embarrass Alberto at WM. He mocked his accent and Champions don’t wear cute little Eddie Bauer scarf and even says the cars Alberto drives are rentals. Ask A-Ri! He gives Alberto his word. A-Ri says Edge said he has no respect for a second rate JBL meets Tito Santana like Alberto Del Rio.

Alberto smirks at them. He says he knows Miz and to him this is some ploy to make him chose Edge over Miz. Is Miz lying to him? Miz asks really? Really? Really? Alberto took out his buddy Christian. He doesn’t respect Alberto. He just thought he’d tell Alberto.

Edge’s music. He comes out to the ring in a plaid button down, jeans and sunglasses. Edge mocks a mariachi player on his way into the ring and gets great pop. Edge says Miz is right, absolutely right. He doesn’t like or respect Alberto. Miz is wrong about one thing, he wouldn’t say things like that behind his back, he’d tell him to his face. See, he will be Champion at WM and if Alberto chooses to face him, Edge will be him. He’s the Rater R Superstar – rolling his R’s. but he already knew that, didn’t he?

Alberto says it’s his destiny to be the greatest of the great. And at WM he will be – looking from Edge to Miz – the new World Heavyweight Champion! Edge says to take this with him. Edge hits Alberto in the face. Mariachi, Miz and A-Ri flee. Alberto takes an abandoned guitar and goes all Jeff Jarrett on Edge. Guitar to the head, then Alberto locks on the cross arm breaker. Refs out to help Edge as Alberto and Ricardo leave laughing. Edge in the ring holds his arm on the mat and looks rather pissy.

Champion Vs. Champion – Edge Vs. Miz w/ A-Ri

No ring entrances, both already there. Justin announces them both. Interestingly, A-Ri is still in his suit.

They lock up. Miz tries to go after the arm Alberto attacked earlier. Edge back off. Side headlock on Miz who tries to go after Edge’s arm. Back and forth, then Miz telegraphs and Edge hit’s a swinging neck breaker. Video of Alberto attacking Edge earlier. Edge stomps away on Miz in a corner. Edge sends Miz to run the ropes. A-Ri grabs Miz’s ankle and pulls him from the ring. Edge over, leans out to grab Miz as A-Ri yells a lot. Miz hangs Edge’s arm up top. Miz send Edge into the stairs shoulder first.

Miz sends Edge into the ring for two. Knees to Edge’s back. Cole says Husky’s being evaluated backstage for his head as Miz works over Edge’s arm and shoulder. Edge up and free, but then Miz wrenches the arm again. Miz pins for two. Miz uses the ropes to wrench Edge arm, then A-Ri with a blow from outside behind the ref’s back. Miz pins for two. Miz back on Edge’s arm as Cole talks about how Miz out maneuvered Orton, out wrestled Orton to win last night. King asked about how Miz eliminated Cena from the Royal Rumble Match.
