Alex Riley out to the stage in a suit, mic in hand. Hide your kids, hide your wife, don’t change the channel, this is Monday night RAW and Miz is Champion! Punk said Riley looked like he was dressed for court – another DUI reference! He said he got to be a part of one of the most groundbreaking moments in the history of entertainment. Like our parents won’t forget what it felt like to watch Neil Armstrong walk on the moon, we’ll never forget Miz cashing in his MITB! Cole is bouncing thrilled. Riley said it’s time to party! Punk said this guy doesn’t need anymore partying his life – DUI comment #2! Riley said if you’ve been online or listening to Punk’s God awful commentary last week, you’ll know Riley isn’t afraid of a party! The fans let him have it. Punk says what’s God awful is Riley’s wrestling. Riley said he’s throwing Miz the biggest party of all time! Punk says it’s a good thing a DUI – then I couldn’t catch the last bit, something about security. Riley says tonight’s RAW is all going A-Ry and going to be awesome!

Backstage Bryan is icing. He asked a Bella about coming up during his entrance? She says she hadn’t seen him and – the other Bella up and called Bryan ‘stud’. Riley up and demands to know why they’re talking to that nerd? They’re supposed to be getting the 50 dancing girls. Riley on his cell, then off and tells them they’re not needed. Then Riley goes off on Bryan about having Miz mentor him on NXT, now he has nothing. All this could have been Bryan’s. Bryan says he’s just fine. The Bellas agreed that he’s fine. Riley says welcome to Miz-fest! Riley leaves and they all roll their eyes and talk smack.

Justin announces ‘OUR’ new WWE Champion, The Miz! He comes out is a sweet plaid suit! Cole says he feels like a father, up and cheeringly loudly. Miz says he had a huge celebration planned for tonight, but in the end, he didn’t need it. He found something that summed up the feeling of the WWE Universe of him winning. First there was shock – Of course they went to the little girl. Then anger – the little girl again. Miz says she will forever be known as the Miz Girl and he wants to thank her. She reminds me of the struggle he went thought to get there. To everybody who said he wouldn’t make it. All the people at MTV who said he’d never be a WWE Superstar, then all in the WWE and the fans who said he’d amount to nothing! To the JBL’s, to the HHH’s, the John Cena’s, to them he says this – The Miz is WWE Champion! He gets mixed for this. What about the former Champion Orton? Pop for him. Randy isn’t there due to a knee injury. Right, the only thing injured is Randy’s pride. Now he’s ashamed to show his face. He shouldn’t be because Randy’s just the first in a long list of people he’s going to demoralize, because when he says he’s going to do something, he accomplishes it. Mark his words, he’ll be the longest reigning Champion in history. If we take anything from this speech – take this – if anyone says you can’t do something, can’t live your dream – you can’t! It takes an exceptional person to live their dream and he’s just. He’s nothing like anyone there or at home. We live our lives without accomplishing anything. He’s one in a billion as he reached his dreams. Two weeks ago Piper came here, stood in this ring and said in this generation they made things happen. Piper never made anything happen. In this book, Riley holds it up. It’s the History of The WWE Championship. Piper’s not in it because he never won the WWE Championship. Steamboat’s not in it as he wasn’t Champion. The list goes on with so-called HOFers, so called Legends that never won the WWE Championship. Magnificent Murraco, Mr. Perfect.

Finally Miz heard King on a mic trying to get his attention. The fans pop for King. He comes around and says as a person who’s name is on that list, congratulations are in order. Miz is the new WWE Championship, but let’s face it, he beat a guy who’d already been attacked by seven people before he won the Title. That may make Miz clever or an opportunist, but in King’s book and everyone there, it doesn’t make him awesome.

Miz asked, really? See, that sounds like ramblings of a bitter old man. Who fought for four decades and never did what he did in one night. Cole asks if they can stop. It’s bad enough King’s been – Punk asks if everybody can stop? Cole says it’s bad enough King’s been out here downplaying Miz’s victory all night. King even called it a fluke. Can King sit down and let Miz have his moment. King says he can, but if Miz is the Champion he says he is, he’d call out someone who wasn’t beaten down by seven others and give them a Title shot. Cole tells King to stop. If he doesn’t then Miz might make an example out of him. King might be that guy. King asks if Miz heard what Cole said? Some of the guys on that list are on there because they never had a Championship opportunity. To be honest with you, he’s been there since 1993 and hasn’t had a Title Match. You know what? If Miz is the Champion Miz says he is, what about giving King a Title shot?

Thanks to my good friend Joel for bringing this to my attention. Here’s an update on Kevin following his “DUI” arrest.

It is said that Alex Riley’s on-air association with The Miz saved him from being let go following his arrest for driving under the influence last Wednesday in Tampa, Florida. He was said to be pretty nervous for several days, however. WWE did not officially announce any punishment and he worked the Survivor Series pay-per-view and Monday’s Raw.

King of the Ring Qualifying Match: Ezekiel Jackson vs. Alex Riley

Back from the break and we get highlights of Ezekiel Jackson since returning to RAW. We go to the ring and out Zeke comes for his KOTR qualifying match against The Miz. Out next comes Alex Riley to The Miz’s music. Riley says he has some news. Riley says The Miz had an anxiety attack a few minutes ago so he is the replacement. Riley says he will qualify for Miz. Riley enters the ring and here we go.

The bell rings and they lock up. Zeke tries to overpower Riley. Riley holds his own until Zeke kicks him to the mat. Zeke launches Riley into the opposite corner but misses a splash. Riley runs in and hits a big splash of his own. Riley drops Zeke on his face but only gets a 2 count. Riley with a headlock now. More back and forth action until Zeke runs right over Riley twice. Zeke hits the huge clothesline in the corner followed by his Rock Bottom move for the win.

    Winner: Ezekiel Jackson

    - After the match, The Miz is given his WWE Title belt as he climbs the ropes and poses. There’s a lot of shocked looking fans in the crowd. Michael Cole declares that the era of awesomeness has begun on RAW. Miz and Riley head up the ramp to the stage. We see a pissed off Randy Orton down on the ground at ringside, holding his knee. RAW goes off the air with Miz and Riley celebrating on the stage.

WWE United States champion Daniel Bryan vs. Ted DiBiase (with Maryse)

Your winner and still United States champion, Daniel Bryan!

As Bryan made his way to the entrance stage, Miz attacked him with the Money in the Bank briefcase and made his way to the ring with Alex Riley.

Miz mockingly apologized, noting that we all know how much he respects Bryan. The lights went out again. Miz said that he was a proud citizen of Cleveland and ripped apart The Miami Heat and the Nexus for both being mediocre. He compared LeBron James to Wade Barrett because they both feel they are entitled to a championship. He said that Wade might become champion but James will never become a champion. Miz said that James has a commercial asking, “What should I do?” Miz said he should go back to Cleveland and apologize for what he did, calling him a traitor. Miz said that he doesn’t care what happens to John Cena tonight but Orton and Barrett both need to know that he’s tired of carrying the briefcase. He warned them that it’s not a matter of if, but when he cashes in. He closed out with his catchphrase.

Trust me when I tell you that I HATE to post this, but you fans have the right to know what just happened and why you might not see Alex on TV in near future. I can’t confirm anything but I am pretty sure that Alex will be suspended for this. And with that being said, I am unsure if he’ll still be signing autographs this Saturday. As soon as more news get available I will post them on the site. Like I said – I hate doing this but let’s all wish Kevin the best.

This weeks three hour ‘Old School’ RAW starts with the old WWF logo, then the crossed out the Federation and put in Entertainment. Then to the show. Cole and King standing there – both in historic announce gear, right down to the gold blazer with the red WWF on Cole! Cole introduced himself as VKM and King as Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura. Then they laughed and Cole introduced himself and King correctly. Cole says it will be ‘vintage’ RAW! King says his memories are in black and white, so why is Cole there. King goes on and says there’s a ton of legends there, most not looking a day older than dead! The siren going the whole time.

In the ring Justin – the screen text is even old school – with a bad blue tux, shag wig and announces Mean Gene Okerlund. He comes out to that odd old stage they used to have. He says tonight RAW goes Old School. He introduces the first HOFer – Cowboy Bob Orton. Orton out with his cast and hat on. He says Randy isn’t there, didn’t know they’re starting an hour early. Do you think he’ll walk out of SS Champion? Randy’s always done what he wants. He had to go to school because the teachers thought he’d beat them up. He said he didn’t care! He doesn’t care if Cena’s Special Guest Ref. He doesn’t care about Cena’s career. He doesn’t care if Wade gets an RKO. If Cena gets an RKO, then he takes Cena’s limp wrist and counts 1-2-3 on the mat! Randy will walk out of there -

They’re cut off by Wade who comes stomping out to where Mean Gene and Orton are. Heat for Wade. He calls Orton ‘old man’ and says his predictions are as phony as that cast. He’ll beat Randy and do something he couldn’t do, become the WWE Champion. They didn’t pave his way, he got here himself. He’ll be Champion on Sunday when Cena raises his hand. The reason he didn’t bring Nexus out there to beat down Orton is because Wade wants him to see Randy beaten down on Sunday. Same for Mean Gene. Mean Gene didn’t like that, but -

Miz out, Riley in tow. Riley in an old RAW Is War shirt. Miz says it’s just that simple? Last week when he told Randy that he’d be on his team, Randy didn’t thank him. He just stared him down with squinty Orton eyes, like those. That was a bad move. He sent a message right back to Randy and changed the landscape of the Ten Man Match, like cashing in the mitl. Maybe he’ll do it when Randy shows tonight. That would change things, wouldn’t it Wade. Then he wouldn’t be able to face Randy, then Cena would be in Nexus forever.

Cena calls to Miz from the tron. He stumbles over his words and says Miz has this weird gift of ruining everything he touches. Fascinating actually. Make sure he cashes in nothing tonight. At SS he’ll be free or fired. That stipulation will stand. He normally follows Wade’s orders, but will protect Wade. Trust him! He then challenges Miz to a match tonight. Of course Miz is looking at his assistant Riley. Miz, if you’re as awesome as you say you are, simply accept. Miz argues with Riley. Cena yells at him, asks if he accepts? Miz loudly accepts!

Cena’s music and he heads to the ring. Out to the front row to give his cap to a little kid. Cena then spit shines Justin and Chiota’s wigs. Miz out to the ring, Riley in tow – bouncing. Video recap of Miz taking advantage of Randy last week in the main event. Miz says he always thinks he’s one step ahead of Miz, doesn’t he. If he takes Miz out now, then Miz can’t cash in tonight on Randy. One thing Cena forgets, the GM never sanctioned this match. So, if the GM doesn’t have a problem, he can make a substitution. Cole says he hasn’t heard anything. Miz says the GM must not mind. So taking his place in this match is Alex Riley. Cena wants to face him, doesn’t he? He’ll have to wait until WM when Miz is WWE Champion!

    Cena Vs. Riley w/ Miz

They lock up and Cena sends Riley flying. Riley all pissed off at Cena pushing him around. Arm bar on Riley, then he was sent flying again. Cole talked about a mistake he made during Zeke’s match, saying it was 2011 (yes, I missed that, but mostly because I tune out anything Cole says, other thant he word ‘vintage’). Yes, he wants it to be the future, so maybe he can do this show himself! Test of strength, Riley slammed down again. Cena toying with him. They lock up, Riley backed into a corner, then whipped to the opposite corner. Riley gets an elbow up into Cena’s face. Behind the ref’s back, Miz on the apron and clotheslines Cena to the mat. Riley on Cena with punches.

The ref gets Riley off. Riley back on Cena with punches. Cena up, but Riley plants Cena face first to the mat. Cena up, whips Riley, but then eats the corner. Riley stomps Cena in a corner. Miz yells at Riley to stay on Cena. Cena whipped, falls to the mat. Riley takes Cena down, but the camera was on Miz, so I have no clue how it happened. Riley got two. Back body drop to Riley. Super Cena up with shoulder blocks and a slam. Five Knuckle Shuffle, then Cena gets Riley up and hit’s the AA. Cena locks on the STF, Riley taps out.

    Winner – Cena

Miz tends to Riley as Cena celebrates. Randy runs down to the ring. Cena watches Miz and Randy work each other. Husky and McGillicutty out and they’re through out. This leaves Randy and Cena in the ring. Off comes Randy’s shirt comes off, the women go wild! They stare off, but then a bunch of refs in old ring gear, and men in suits stumble into the ring, falling all over each other. “Let them fight!” chants.

Husky tags in and on R-Truth with upper cuts. R-Truth punche sand kicks back. R-Truth runs the ropes, holds on, tags in Henry.

Henry in and scoop slams Husky like he was Rey! Henry misses his splash. Husky splashes Henry in a corner. McGillicutty tags in and Husky wings him into Henry. Henry slams into McGillicutty.

Bryan tags in, upper cuts to McGillicutty. Shin kicks to McGillicutty’s chest in a corner. Bryan whipped, runs up the corner and flips over McGillicutty. German to McGillicutty. Bryan gets the fans into it and runs a drop kick to McGillicutty in a corner for two. Kicks to McGillicutty, but McGillicutty comes back with kicks. Husky gets a blind tag. Bryan tries to lock on a submission hold, but Husky in behind him and grabs Bryan.

Sick clothesline to Bryan for two. Husky taunts Team Orton by hitting Bryan in the head! Wade tags in as Cole tells Josh he’s out of a job as Mean Gene will be there next week. Wade pins Bryan for two. Bryan whipped, then a backbreaker. Wade pins for two again. Wade wrenches Bryan’s arms back, knee in Bryan’s spine. Bryan works up to his feet and kicks at Wade, but Wade plants Bryan on the mat for another two. Gabriel tags in.

Kicks to Bryan, then Husky tags in and they both kick on him. Slater tags in and kicks at him. Bryan whipped, but he moves and Slater eats the corner. Both down. Slater up and a cheap shot to Miz. Bryan up and kicks Slater in the face, but Cena was between the camera and the action!

Both down again. Orton wants in as Bryan reaches. Wade and Orton tag in. Orton with clotheslines, then that sick scoop slam! Wade on the apron and Orton pulls him through and holds Wade there. Cena counts to four, then Orton hits his DDT which Cole calls ‘vintage’ Orton! Orton pounds the mat, but Wade is ready and kicks on Orton, punches. Wade gets Orton up, Orton wiggles out and nails a backbreaker.

McGillicutty in to break the pin attempt. R-Truth in and slams McGillicutty to the mat. Gabriel in and takes R-Truth down. Henry in and slams Gabriel to the mat. Henry talks smack to someone outside while Cena tries to talk Henry down. Slater attacks Henry from the side. Slater and Husky throw Henry from the ring. Bryan up and flies with a double missile dropkick to Slater and Husky!

    Winners – Nexus

Nexus raises arms across the ring as Orton lolls under the ropes. Video of Miz and Riley taking Orton out. Nexus on the stage, lift Wade on their shoulders. Husky with one leg, Otunga with the other. Otunga with a petulant look on his face, not happy holding Wade up.

Justin in the ring announces Pee-Wee Herman, talking up his accolades. Out to the ring comes Pee-Wee in full Pee-Wee mode! Cole talks about how to see Pee-Wee on Broadway.

He thanks everyone, though no one is interested. He says he’s totally feeling RAW and gets little, but mixed reaction. He says he wants to explain tonight’s secret word. Tonight’s secret word is ‘ring’ and Cole is so into the secret word game. Everyone’s supposed to scream really loudly. Cole is into it and can’t get King excited. Pee-Wee says he feels like a million dollars and Miz’s music hits. Pee-Wee looks confused, stupefied.

Miz and Riley stomp out to the ring. King tells Cole to sit down, Miz doesn’t need a standing ovation. Pee-Wee offers Miz his hand, but gets nothing. Miz says he thought RAW losing at Bragging Rights was the lowest point in the history of this show, obviously he was wrong. Miz says he doesn’t like Pee-Wee. Riley does, but Miz doesn’t never has. He was always a He-Man and Masters Of The Universe guy, he loved that show. Pee-Wee asks Miz why he doesn’t marry He-Man? Miz tells Herman to turn around and get out of his ring.

Everyone screams for the secret word. Riley turns to Miz and tells him that he can’t say the secret word! Miz says he doesn’t know about a stupid word or a stupid show. He needs to get out of his ring!

Of course the yelling again. Miz says that Pee-Wee with his stupid red bowtie and stupid gray suit. He’s not a cultural icon, he’s nothing more than a pathetic excuse of a man. “I know you are, but what am I?” asked Pee-Wee. Miz says that’s real cute. Pee-Wee echoes Miz as he speaks. Riley steps in for him and Pee-Wee does the same echoing to him. Riley can’t get anywhere and finally Miz comes in yelling stop it over and over. He asks Pee-Wee if he’s stupid? He doesn’t care if he’s on Broadway, if he was on TV, does he want Miz to beat him into a pulp?

Pee-Wee asks if that should scare him? He’s shaking! Miz is starting to make Pee-Wee angry. He’s a loner, a rebel. All three get into a ‘really’ asking match until Pee-Wee ends it with “really infinity!” they can stand around and play the really game all night, but he’ll give them a little advice, do not anger the Pee! Riley laughed at Miz. Pee-Wee says he has his cousin backstage. Miz says that’s why he’s so confident? Yeah! His cousin will protect him? Yeah! Miz says that’s so funny, he forgot to laugh – in a Pee-Wee voice, of course. Miz says to bring his cousin, the whole Herman family. Pee-Wee says he’ll be out to wipe that smile off his face because he’s so awesome!

Big Show’s music hits and he comes out in a way too tiny gray suit, red tie and silly wave. Pee-Wee dances around a smiling Big Show and laughs. Riley charges, Big Show grabs his throat with one hand, then Miz with the other. He choke slams them both over the top and out. Pee-Wee up into Big Show’s arms. Pee-Wee asks if they had a nice trip out of the ring. Of course the screaming for ring started again.

Ding-Ding! And I quote, “Miz, you’re not getting out of this so easy. You said you’d beat anyone in Pee-Wee’s family. Well, tonight’s secret word is, pain. Because you’re going to face Pee-Wee Herman’s cousin The Big Pee-Wee.” Pee-Wee’s music plays and he dances with Big Show in the ring. Cole now thinks this is all lame.

    Big Pee-Wee Vs. Miz

Miz dodges around Big Show, but is caught and chopped in a corner. Miz slammed face first into a corner, then another chop. Miz runs the ropes, then drops down and flees the ring. He and Riley discuss things outside the ring.

Miz back in, bounces around, but gets caught and flung across the ring by his head. Big slap to Miz’s chest. Miz ducks a clothesline, then kicks at Big Show’s knee. Big Show comes back with a clothesline. Big Show gets Miz up and slams him down. Elbow drop to Miz for two as Cole talks about how valiant Miz is. Head butt to Miz, then Miz fights back with kicks to Big Show’ knee. Blows to Big Show’s head, then a low drop kick to Big Show’s knee. More blows Big Show, then he chokes Big Show from behind. Sleeper on Big Show who’s down on one knee. Riley and Cole high five.

Big Show to his feet, Miz still on his back. Big Show falls back, slamming Miz to the ring. Cole talks about all the Miz-fits out there. Head butt to Miz, then Big Show climbs to the second ropes, stares down at Riley with the case, but Miz avoids the splash. Big Show easily kicks out of the attempt. Miz stomps and kicks to keep Big Show down. Miz climbs, double axe handle to Big Show’ head. Miz climbs and does that a second time. On the third time Big Show hit’s the mat. Chinlock on Big Show as Riley slams the case around on the apron. Big Show to his feet, slams mix off. Miz up and runs into clotheslines, two of them. Big back body drop to Miz. Big Show calls for the train, but Miz moves. Big Show grabs Miz by the throat. Riley up on the apron. Big Show throws Miz into Riley, but the case lands in the ring. Miz grabs the case and nails Big Show in the gut with it. The ref sees this and calls for the bell.

Winner – Big Show via DQ

Case to Big Show’s back. Miz drops the case, leaves the ring and takes the case with him. All three are in pain – Miz and Riley on the ramp, Big Show in the ring. Video of where it was all turned around and the case ends up in the ring. Big Show stares up the ramp at Miz and Riley.
